Prithvi Shaw is ready to make his comeback in the Indian T20 League!

After missing three important matches, the Delhi opener is set to make his return in the Indian T20 League. The 22-year-old was suffering from Typhoid and shared a picture of him in the hospital bed aiming to make his return soon. It will be a much needed boost to Delhi as the team is looking to book their playoffs berth and with a win against Punjab, they will get closer to their desired target.

“When they play their next game against Punjab on Monday evening, Shaw is likely to be available”, said a source closer to The Times of India. Shaw is a very important batter as he controls the game right from the start. With his ability to hit the ball, Shaw can dictate bowlers and that is exactly what the camp needs from this youngster. With David Warner by his side, a good start from the duo can destroy any opponent.

Shaw has scored 259 runs in nine games and with a strike rate of 159.87. Despite scoring 2 fifties in the tournament, the expectations are quite high from a player of his calibre and the Delhi franchise will hope that he will deliver towards the business end of the tournament and will help Delhi win their maiden championship in the Indian T20 League.
