Gunners close in on €100m Mudryk deal

According to Foot Mercato, Arsenal and Shakhtar Donetsk are moving closer to a deal for Mykhailo Mudryk.

The 22-year-old winger has been a prominent target for Mikel Arteta's side this January, and according to the sources, considerable progress has been made on a deal for around €100 million.

Mudryk has also been linked with Chelsea, but after sources reported on Monday that Graham Potter's side are close to completing a loan deal for Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix, the Gunners look to have increased their interest in the Ukraine international.

Talks are expected to continue throughout the week as the two clubs finalise an agreement on the initial cost, as well as any extras that will be included as part of the deal, with the north London club hopeful that the move can be completed.
