Bellingham now has the most goals in his first 15 matches for Real Madrid

The 20-year-old wunderkind Jude Bellingham stole the attention again. Most recently, the Real Madrid star broke a record at Los Blancos in the name of legendary Cristiano Ronaldo. Bellingham was again included in Real Madrid's starting XI against Cadiz in the 2023/2024 La Liga, Sunday. Previously, the England national team player was absent due to injury.

And against Cadiz, Bellingham again got his name on the scoreboard. That one goal helped Los Blancos win by three goals without reply. The goal that led him to set a new record, breaking the records of club legends. It wasn't just the victory and three points that Real Madrid managed to take home, but this match also had a big meaning for the Englishman. This additional goal means that he has now scored 14 goals in his first 15 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions.

This score is very impressive when you look at whose record he broke. The total number of 14 goals in 15 matches beat the 13 goals of Cristiano Ronaldo, Alfredo Di Stefano and Pruden Sanchez which further means Bellingham is now listed as the player who scored the most goals in his first 15 matches for Real Madrid. He alone tops that list.

As a midfielder, Bellingham's goal record is extraordinary. That additional goal brought his name to the top of the list of top scorers in La Liga 2023/2024 with 11 goals. If you look at Jude Bellingham's goal score so far, his total number of goals has equalled his goal record last season. With Borussia Dortmund for the 2022/2023 season, Bellingham scored 14 goals.

Of course, this number could still increase considering that the Spanish League has just entered its 14th week. And there is also the Champions League, where Real Madrid will face Napoli this midweek. Signed by Real Madrid last summer from Borussia Dortmund, a fee of 103 million is not a fraudulent investment. Many compliments have come to him.

"I am not surprised or have any doubts about the impact of Bellingham's presence. What is perhaps surprising is how quickly he did all this," said Carragher earlier this month. "I've played with Figo and Zidane, even both of them need time. I remember when Zidane arrived, the first month or two, he wasn't as good as he was at Juventus. But with Bellingham's personality and character, he looks like he could play here for 10 years," he added.
