Casemiro is likely to face the Red Devils' exit with Ratcliffe ready to make big calls

Brazilian footballer Casemiro's career will not last long at Manchester United as it seems. This was because the club’s new owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, may have other plans for the Portuguese. The 71-year-old business tycoon will soon become one of the owners of Man United. He will acquire 25% of the club's shares shortly. So, therefore, he was not involved in all of Man United's previous transfer activities including when buying Casemiro from Real Madrid. The 31-year-old midfielder was brought to Old Trafford in the summer of 2022 with a fee of €70 million. The new contract will expire in 2026.

Initially, Casemiro showed his class in Man United's midfield. His presence will have a significant influence on Man United in the 2022/2023 season by finishing in 3rd position. However, in his second season, Casemiro experienced a significant decline in performance. His presence no longer has a positive influence. After expelling Arnold, Ratcliffe will reportedly use his influence at the club to interfere in transfer matters. One of his requests was to expel Casemiro immediately. The earliest will be the summer of 2024.
