Indian star cricketer Shami to pay Rs. 1.30 Lakh monthly alimony to his estranged wife, Hasin Jahan

Team India's star fast bowler Mohammad Shami recently played in the ODI series against New Zealand. Meanwhile, 32-year-old speedster Shami received a piece of bad news from the Kolkata court in a dispute with his estranged wife Hasin Jahan. A few years back, Hasin had made serious allegations against Shami. Now the court has given a big decision regarding the relationship between the two.

In fact, in the year 2018, Mohammed Shami's wife filed a case in court demanding a monthly allowance of Rs 10 lakh. 7 lakh rupees will be for his personal, while 3 lakh rupees will go for the maintenance of his daughter. After a couple of years, the Kolkata court ordered Shami to pay Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand to his wife as a monthly alimony. 50 thousand will be for the wife and 80 thousand will be spent on the maintenance of his daughter.

However, his wife is not happy with this amount. Because she had demanded many times more amount than this. Shami's wife can now appeal against this decision in the High Court.

43-year-old Hasin Jahan made serious allegations against Mohammed Shami in the year 2018. She made many serious allegations against Shami like match-fixing, dowry harassment, and domestic violence. However, all these allegations were declared false by Shami. After the dispute, both of them separated from each other.

In September 2022, after the victory of the Men in Blue against Pakistan at the Asia Championship, Shami's wife Hasin Jahan shared on social media a photo of the current team India's vice-captain Hardik Pandya who led India to victory with a six and there she took a veiled attack against Shami, who was not in the Indian squad.

"Congratulations. A memorable victory. Thanks to our Tigers for helping the Men in Blue in this win. This had to happen; the country's reputation and honour are protected by honest patriots rather than criminals and womanisers," her post then had read. The post sparked widespread outrage among fans and many criticised the 43-year-old for her veiled attack on India's reputed fast bowler.
