Indian T20 League-based franchise Bangalore's star finisher Dinesh Karthik is seen in aggressive form ahead of the start of the upcoming season of the Indian T20 League. 37-year-old wicket-keeper batter Karthik produced a blistering batting performance in the DY Patil tournament in Navi Mumbai and smocked an unbeaten 75 off just 38 balls which included five fours and six sixes in his belligerent knock as he stayed unbeaten till the end.

Karthik, playing his first match in the tournament, which is a good Bangalore team heading towards the Indian T20 League's latest edition. The right-handed batter made a spectacular comeback in the last season i.e. Indian T20 League 2022. Due to his return, Karthik was able to make a place in Team India as well. He scored 330 runs in 16 matches last season in this tournament in 2022 at an average of 55 and a blistering strike rate of 183.33. In this, he had scored a half-century. At the same time, his high score has been 66 not out. 

Dinesh Karthik, who made his league debut in 2008, has played a total of 229 matches so far. In 208 innings of these matches, he has scored 4376 runs at an average of 26.85 and a strike rate of 132.65. In this, he has scored a total of 20 half-centuries. At the same time, his high score has been 97 runs. 

Karthik made his international debut in September 2004, and since then he has played a total of 180 international matches. In 169 innings of these matches, he has scored 3463 runs at an average of 27.70. In this, he has scored 1 century and 17 half-centuries. At the same time, his highest score is 129.
