Bangladesh and England will cross swords for the second time in the three-match ODI series on Friday, March 3. The Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka will host the game. 

The Jos Buttler-led England side started in a decent style in the series after fetching victory in the inaugural match of the series by three wickets. They grabbed a vital 1-0 lead and can seal the series if they win this match.

After drafting a total of 210 runs on the scoreboard, the visiting side smashed the Bangla Tigers with eight balls to spare. Dawid Malan was the priced player of the English side as he went on to play an unbeaten knock of 114 runs off 145 deliveries, hitting eight fours and four sixes in the process. 

Malan was involved in an important 51-run partnership for the seventh wicket along with Adil Rashid who contributed 17 runs. Taijul Islam took three wickets along with Mehidy Hasan who picked two but all their efforts went in vain. 

Najmul Hossain Shanto fetched his maiden half-century in ODIs but he didn’t get much support from the other side. Mustafizur Rahman didn’t have a good day as he failed to pick a single wicket.
