Jack Leach ruled out of the remainder of India tour

Left arm spin bowler Jack Leach has been ruled out of the remainder of the test series against India. Leached had picked up a knee injury during the inaugural test of the series in Hyderabad after which he missed the next fixture in Vizag. England have opted not to name a replacement. 

ECB issued a statement expressing that the 32 year old will fly home from Abu Dhabi in the next 24 hours. The England squad has been in Abu Dhabi since the conclusion of the Vizag Test. They will now travel to Rajkot without Leach for the third test that commences on Thursday (February 15). 

Leach will now work steadily with the England and Somerset medical teams for his rehabilitation.
