EPL side shows interest in signing Roberto Firmino from the Saudi Pro League

Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino is said to have the opportunity to join Fulham instead of Liverpool after leaving Al Ahli. Firmino can be said to have achieved legendary status at Liverpool. He is one of the players who brought the Reds back from their long slumber in the Premier League and in the Champions League. However, his eight years with the Reds ended in the summer of 2023. The 32-year-old star forward has been linked with several clubs.

However, he made a surprise by choosing to play in the Saudi Arabian League. He went there along with many other players from Europe. Roberto Firmino immediately appeared promising with Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League. He scored a hat trick in the match against Al Hazem. Unfortunately, after that, the Brazilian striker couldn't score another goal. Not only in a few matches but in the next 18 appearances at the club.

From there, speculation began to emerge regarding Firmino's future. He is said to be able to leave Al Ahli. Roberto Firmino was then said to be able to return to the Premier League. Reportedly several clubs could be Firmino's next career destination. However, there is no name of his former club, the Reds. Firmino has even been linked with Fulham. This news was reported by talkSPORT. The report states that Al Ahli has offered Firmino to Fulham. Coincidentally, the club which is based at Craven Cottage needs a new striker.

They had previously parted ways with Aleksandar Mitrovic. The striker chose to move to Saudi Arabia and defend Al Hilal.
