"I will be there with or without love": Neymar on PSG

Neymar recently revealed that he would stay at PSG despite fans demanding he leave last season. He still honors his contract with Les Parisiens even though there are reports that other clubs want to sign him. The Brazilian has endured a rocky relationship with the club's supporters since his world-record move from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 for a reported £190 million. However, doubts still surround his future at the Parc des Princes after they failed to win the UCL again. Later, he became the target of fans' anger. Fans showed their frustration in May when they gathered outside Neymar's home to demand he leave, but he hopes to stay with the club for the coming season.

Talking about his future, the 31-year-old player emphasized that he would continue to play for the Ligue 1 Champions even without the support of fans. He dismissed reports circulating that he was no longer comfortable in the French capital. "I hope to play this season at PSG, I have a contract with PSG. So far, no one has said anything to me," he told during an interview. "I'm calm, even if there isn't much love between fans and players. I will be there with or without love."

Neymar's campaign last season ended with an ankle injury he suffered in February and required surgery after sustaining a similar problem at the Qatar World Cup three months earlier. He returned to training last week and is looking to get back on the pitch once again after going through a 'difficult' process. "The process was very painful and very difficult, but I'm trying to come back well. Of course, winning is always part of the goal, but I want to play well again, that's the first thing," he explained.

According to various reports, The Blues are interested in signing Neymar if he decides to leave the Ligue 1 giants. His contract in Paris expires in 2025, but he has the option to extend it for another year. Although Neymar may want to stay and work with Luis Enrique a second time, those within the hierarchy may be more interested in managing his departure. Despite concerns over Neymar's persistent injury record, the club is burdened by the Brazilian's exorbitant wages, which earned him £26 million per season. Switching those wages off their wage bill would reduce anxiety within the club and avoid the threat of FFP.
