Chelsea will host Man United in the match 31 of EPL at Stamford Bridge

The two giant English clubs Chelsea and Man United will face each other in the middle of this week on Friday(05th April 2024) at Stamford Bridge. Former Leicester City player Robbie Savage predicts the match will be won by the Blues. Chelsea will receive a visit from Manchester United on matchday 31 of the 2023/2024 Premier League. Both teams failed to win in the EPL last weekend because of this, it looks like they will be looking for an outlet in the middle of this week. The 11th placed EPL side Chelsea was held to a draw by guests Burnley 2-2 meanwhile, whereas 6th placed Manchester United drew 1-1 against hosts Brentford.

The Macclesfield F.C. (Director of football) Savage believes that 5-time EPL title winners Chelsea will concede when they face Red Devils considering that their defense is quite fragile. "Chelsea face Manchester United, the Red Devils are looking for a third win in a row over the Blues," wrote the former midfielder on Planet Sports. "This match is at Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea has conceded 10 goals in their last five games, I think they will concede."

Chelsea will play at home, Savage predicts the Blues can beat the Red Devils with a score of 2-1. “But, United – the 31 shots Brentford had on goal in their last game,” the former midfielder continued. "I think Chelsea are at home, I know Burnley got a draw there but I just think Chelsea in this game will make it 2-1," he added.
