The eighth game of the Hundred Ball Men’s 2023 will be played between Southern Brave and Welsh Fire. The Ageas Bowl in Southampton will host the match on Sunday, August 6. 

SB has had an inconsistent start to the competition, winning one and losing one, and is presently fourth on the points table. The Superchargers' first match, on the other hand, was cancelled due to bad weather.

The Braves won their latest match against Welsh Fire by a narrow margin of just 2 runs. Chris Jordan shone as SOB's top performer, smashing 70 runs off 32 balls. Craig Overton, Rehan Ahmed and Tymal Mills,  each got 2 wickets, demonstrating their ability to keep the opposition at bay.

Northern Superchargers, on the other side, possessed a good team in 2022 but did not perform well, and finished sixth on the points table. They do, however, have several crucial players, like Adam Lyth and Adam Hose, both of whom were the team's top run scorers the previous season. Adam Lyth hammered 299 runs in 8 innings while striking out 175.88 batters. The Superchargers have a balanced bowling attack with talents like Wayne Parnell, Reece Topley, Bas de Leede, Adil Rashid, and Ollie Robinson. Out of them, the English right-hand leg spinner  Adil Rashid was their leading wicket-taker last season.
