Gujarat (GUJ) will host Punjab (PUN) in match 17 of the Indian T20 League 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Thursday, April 17. As has been the case with GUJ since their entry in the competition in 2022, they have been majestic, winning two and losing one out of their three games so far. 

They are yet to be beaten at home this season so far with their only loss coming against reigning champions Chennai (CHE) in an away fixture. PUN on the other hand kicked off their campaign with a hard fought 4 wicket win over Delhi (DEL) but ever since things have gone downhill for the 2014 finalists. They lost two games on the trott and will desperately want to get their season back on track. 

PUN were defeated by Bengaluru (BEN) by four wickets and then by Lucknow (LUC) by 21 runs. The Shikhar Dhawan led side has so far fetched two points from three games in the ongoing edition of the T20 league.

Match Prediction    

PUN have struggled to find their feet in the tournament thus far. They have been inconsistent and as a result the two games on the bounce.
