Inter Milan has converted the most penalties in Serie A this season

Inter Milan is at the top of the standings in Week 23 of Serie A 2023/2024. Until the same week, Nerazzurri was also the team that received the most penalties from the referee. Inter Milan has appeared very consistent in the 2023/2024 season. Under the control of Simone Inzaghi, Inter Milan has achieved 57 points from the 22 matches played. They are four points ahead of Juventus who are in second place. The current table toppers defeated the Old Lady by 1-0 on Monday(05 Feb) to extend its points tally in the league.

So far, Inter Milan has only lost once and that moment occurred in week 6 when Inter Milan lost with a score of 1-2 to Sassuolo. Behind Inter Milan's neat performance, there are interesting facts behind it. Simone Inzaghi's side is the team that has received the most penalties in Serie A.  Apart from being at the top of the standings in week 23 of Serie A 2023/2024, Inter Milan also has another great record. The Nerazzurri is also the club that conceded the fewest goals (10) and scored the most goals (51).
