Stanislav Lobotka heading to Barca?

Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka opens his voice regarding rumours about Barcelona's interest. The 29-year-old midfielder was quite enthusiastic about hearing these rumours and he has played for Napoli since being brought in from Celta Vigo in January 2020. Slovakian player is now the axis of the Partenopei game. Lobotka is an irreplaceable player in Napoli's midfield this season, he has played 40 matches in all competitions and contributed one assist. The slick game shown by Lobotka made the player interested in other clubs, the Spanish giants Barca is one of the clubs reportedly interested in using his services.

Lobotka is reportedly one of Barcelona's targets this summer, this was acknowledged by Blaugrana president Joan Laporta. "We discussed it with Deco, Barcelona wants to sign him (Lobotka), but there are many other things that need to be done first," Laporta told Mundo Deportivo. Lobotka finally opened his voice regarding rumours of Barcelona's interest, he admitted that he was happy to be linked with the Spanish giants.

"I'm thinking about Napoli because we have a very important game to play on Saturday," Lobotka told RTVS. "Of course, it's great when my childhood idol, Xavi, praises the way I play. It gives me the energy to keep going and keep trying to improve myself. "We'll see what happens in the summer.”
