After the recently played ODI and T20I series between Bangladesh and Ireland, both sides would like to show their best forms to dominate the last game between them in this tour. The Irish side would be more eager to end their tour on a winning note. 

Bangladesh as we all know is pretty invincible at home and not only in this series but also against big opponents. After their prolific displays in the ODIs and T20Is, they will surely want to keep their winning run in the one-off Test match against the Irish side. 

On the other side, Ireland would be looking for a win at the end off-Test to end their tour of Bangladesh on a positive note. Ireland managed to win the 3rd T20I against the Bangla Tigers and will try to gain some confidence from that match. 

When it comes to Test cricket, Bangladesh doesn’t have the best form. They will be coming into this match after a 5 match-losing streak. Being their first match of this calendar year, they will dedicate themselves to winning the match. The main problem they are going to face now is some of their key players are off to the Indian T20 League and now it will be fascinating to see how they manage the squad balance for this encounter.

In the last test they played against India, Mominul Haq and Litton Das were the star performers for their side when it came to batting. Both of them smashed fifty in either inning and looked quite familiar with the Indian bowling attack when the rest of their team fell prey to the opponent’s bowling attack. 

When compared to their batting side, their bowlers performed comparatively well as Taijul Islam and Shakib AL Hasan took 4 wickets apiece in the first innings of the game while Mehidy Hasan went on to take a five-wicket haul in the second innings.

Speaking about the forms of the respective teams, Ireland has not been in their best of forms when it comes to the longest form of cricket. They lost 3 out of their last 3 games. However, it’s not right to judge them by their score from such a time back. For the time being, we can say they will be pumped by confidence for their win in the last T20I and will try to carry forward their winning momentum with the rest of the players they have in the squad except the ones who left for the Indian T20 League.

The batting side will be primely dependent on the services of skipper Andy Balbirnie and James McCollum. These two Irish batters will have to do the bulk of scoring for the side. Keeper Peter Moor and all-rounder George Dockrell will also have to divide the responsibilities and keep on adding for their side.

The bowling side will be led by Andy McBrine and Mark Adair. Their bowling is quite inexperienced and they will have to pull out all strings possible to win and put up a grand show in front of the Bangladesh batting attack.

Bangladesh has been one of the most confident teams when it comes to playing at their home. They have a good reputation in white ball cricket but they struggle in form when it comes to the Test format. Ireland on the other side are out of their form as they have not played a single match in this format for almost more than two years.
