Ravindra Jadeja’s optimistic approach despite England’s aggressive style

Team India prime all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja shared his views on the forthcoming third test match against England. He expressed his confidence citing the match being played at his home ground despite the Three-Headed Lions having an aggressive approach towards the game.

"I won't term England as [one of the most difficult] teams," Jadeja stated, emphasising India's historical dominance on the home soil.

He highlighted the necessity of England’s adaptation to England’s aggressive gameplay and expressed, "We need to get used to that and plan accordingly for them."

Coming to the point of India’s performance in the series opener, the Southpaw all-rounder said, "If it wasn't for small mistakes in the second innings of the first Test, we wouldn't have lost."

Although missing the second test due to a hamstring injury, he remains optimistic regarding his return to the crucial third Test.

While addressing his injury concerns, Jadeja admitted the physical strain in modern-day cricket expressing "It is frustrating, but cricket has increased these days."

The l highlighted the need for taking frequent rests, adding, "I would like to give my 100 per cent and save my body and keep away from diving when not required."

The 35-year-old predicted a flat and hard pitch for the match but also stated the unanticipated nature of the pitch in the last matches. "Here the wicket behaves differently in every game," he was quoted as saying.

Jadeja’s understandings provide crucial information on Team India’s mindset and strategy entering the third Test against England.

Despite all these challenges, he remains positive about India’s prospects of winning the game and taking a lead in the third Test.
