Mumbai Franchise has received much-needed motivation due to the possibility of losing spearhead Jasprit Bumrah for the whole of the Indian T20 League season. Jofra Archer, an English fast bowler who has suffered from ailments recently, has been given the go-ahead to play the whole season as per the reports.

Most times Indian T20 league title holder Mumbai has received much-needed motivation due to the possibility of losing spearhead Jasprit Bumrah for the whole of the Indian T20 League season 2023.

Franchise circles have debated how a home board should remotely manage a player's workload. Still, as a media house previously reported, foreign boards demand that their players, particularly fast bowlers, not be used for a set number of games at a time, a set number of balls to bowl in a net session, and regular updates on their fitness.

Archer recorded two for 37 in 10 overs while playing for England in an ODI match against Bangladesh on Wednesday in Dhaka. Until March 14, England will play three one-day internationals and three Twenty20 internationals in Bangladesh. After that, Archer may head to India. He is anticipated to be ready for the five-time champions and to direct their offense from the start of their match on April 2 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium against Bangalore.

Although knowing that Barbados-born English fast bowler Archer would not be available for the 2022 season, Mumbai invested in him by purchasing him for Rs 8 crore in the last year’s super auction. They intended to use Bumrah and Archer as a potent pace duo in their arsenal. However, in a strange twist of fate, the franchise would not have Bumrah's services, but their investment in Archer seemed to be paying off.

For about 18 months—the second half of 2021 and nearly 2022—Archer could not play competitive cricket. At the SA T20 League in January, he participated in his first significant competitive game with MICT, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Indian T20 League-based Mumbai franchise management. In addition to participating for England in the three-match ODI series against South Africa, he participated in five games throughout the tournament.
