CS will cross swords with DA in the 8th game of the ongoing Lanka T20 League. The match will be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on Saturday, August 5.

After losing their first match to Jaffna, Colombo bounced back to defeat B-Love in the second. The team led by Niroshan Dickwella will next face Dambulla, who struggled with the bat in the third game of the campaign. In the meantime, the Strikers will try to keep up their momentum. Pakistan captain Babar Azam and Sri Lankan pacer Matheesa Pathirana both performed admirably well in the previous encounter and will be expected to do so again.

Dambulla, on the other hand, had difficulty with the bat in the early stages of the game. That is a component where the team has to improve. Avishka Fernando, the last match's opener, sought to get off to a good start, but despite his efforts, the 25-year-old was unable to get going to a big score. However, Dhananjaya de Silva's brilliant performance aided the team's victory over B-Kandy. Their bowlers, on the other hand, have performed admirably thus far in the tournament, and this remains one of their biggest assets.
