The 6th and the last league stage match of the Legends T20 League will be played between WG and AL on Thursday, 16th March 2023, at 08:00 PM IST in West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha.

The current season hasn't seen many high-scoring games. Despite having a star-studded roster, the WG has had trouble scoring runs. With Chris Gayle, Aaron Finch ought to think about starting the innings. During the last two games, Finch downgraded himself and gave the ball to others.

That had no effect since Gayle's opening partners in her most recent appearances couldn't get going. Finch would be better placed with an offensive strategy at the top after failing at number 4.

In this batting order, Shane Watson is a dependable number 3 batter. He's had a couple of solid starts and even scored fifty in the first game of the year. Samit Patel is one such hitter who has been present in action in the late middle order.

Patel has shown promise in recent seasonal T20 games and is an essential all-around player for WG.

Chris Mpofu, Tino Best, and Brett Lee are the three bowlers to look out for in the speed category. Best is a tremendously fit cricket player and in excellent form. Even though they have few dependable or consistent batsmen, WG may be a difficult opponent with the ball.

As AL faced IM for the second time this season, they suffered a significant loss after two consecutive victories. However, even if 157 runs would not have been enough to defeat the IM, the manner of the defeat was more unexpected. The bowling lineup for the AL included Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Mohammad Amir.

And it's difficult to swallow that the bowling lineup had such superstars and yet lost by 10 wickets. And even though Mohammad Hafeez was cheaply replaced in the last game, the AL would prefer to keep him in this one.

In the middle order, he will be an essential player. He has a tonne of experience and later succeeded as a match-finisher in the late middle order with his Pakistan T20 League team.

Abdul Razzaq has given the AL reason to be optimistic with his ferocious knock deeper down the order. However, AL could clinch this game if Misbah ul Haq can continue his recent string of solid performances in this match.

One of the openers is likely to go big and provide a crucial blow for the AL. Misbah would be worried about the bowlers. Tanvir, Amir, and Abdur Razzaq must make strides in this crucial match and keep the Lions in the game.

Teams are considering bowling first and limiting the opposition to a par score as batting becomes more difficult on this surface. And although chasing could still be challenging, doing so would give the squad an advantage.

Given the low-scoring environment, a first innings total of more than 165–170 may be a match-winning total.

It is a level surface that also lends assistance to the bowlers. For hitters to hit boundaries, they will need to have excellent timing. And on this pitch, it will be a difficult challenge to do. Doha will see clear weather with a high of 28℃ and a wind speed of 6 km/h in the northeast direction.

WG will arrive here fresh off a victory. Even though it was a close call, they now have momentum. The fact that the AL has some formidable hitters in their batting order allows them to relax despite their serious bowling problems. The WG seems to have a slight advantage over the AL in what appears to be a close game between these two teams. In our match prediction, WG is the early favorite. We anticipate that WG will triumph.
