In the match, the Lions posted a respectable score of 165-6 after batting first, with Misbah-ul-Haq playing a brilliant knock of 73 off 50 deliveries, including two fours and four sixes. Gambhir scored 54 off 39 but couldn't help his team chase down the target.

The Giants, on the other hand, will be captained by Aaron Finch, who recently retired from all forms of international cricket. With Shane Watson, Chris Gayle, Lendl Simmons, and Hashim Amla in their batting lineup, the Giants boast a formidable batting unit. Watson and Kallis are also expected to contribute with their bowling, while the team's fast-bowling legend, Brett Lee, will also be in action.
