Mahmudullah rested for Ireland ODIs

Bangladesh have rested veteran Mahmadullah for the ODI series against Ireland. The Tigers are set to host Ireland for three ODIs, three T20Is and one Test match. The three match ODI series will be played in Sylhet on March 18, 20 and 23 whereas the T20Is are scheduled for March 27, 29 and 31. The one off test will be played in Dhaka from April 4. 

"We have rested Mahmudullah in the series and we are looking forward to trying out other options that we have at the moment. We have to see our different combinations as we are preparing our team for the next World Series but his omission certainly does not imply that everything is over for him," BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin told the press on Sunday.
