The Portuguese duo of Ronaldo and Bruno helped Man United reach to the top four of PL

On the day Lionel Messi missed an important penalty in the Champions League against Real Madrid, his long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brilliant goal against Brighton. In 2022, the legend was not doing well as he missed a lot of chance but finally scored a brilliant goal to end his goal drought. Bruno Fernanes, his partner in crime scored the 2nd goal in the 96th minute of the match and with that Manchester United moved to the fourth in the Premier League.

The 1st half wasn’t as desired for Ralf Rangnick as it should have been. In the second half, after Lewis Dunk was sent off, United created a lot of chances but like always, missed chances that they should have converted. The threat of losing the lead was once again blooming as in the last three games at Premier League, United was leading but ended up with one point in their bag.

The win was really important for United as they really need some kind of confidence and motivation to do better. In the last match it was seen that Cristiano Ronaldo was in tears after missing a golden opportunity. So, a win can do wonders for the men in red.

The German boss was very impressed with Cristiano's performance. In the post-match press conference, the manager said, "I think overall it was a good performance by Cristiano. Energetically, he was on there, he was always trying to help the team-mates. So, I think in the last weeks definitely the best performance by him and a very, very important goal for us".
