LAH and PES will cross swords in the 2nd Eliminator of the Pakistan T20 League 2023. The match is scheduled at the Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore. 

Shaheen Afridi led LAH, won seven out of their first 10 league games and were the first team to progress to the playoffs by sealing their spot in the top two. But since then they have suffered two consecutive batting failures. 

Being bowled out at just a score of 110 runs in their previous league match against KAR, they were defeated by an 84-run margin by the hands of MUL in the Qualifier. While chasing a total of 161 runs, LAH were bowled out for just 76 in 14.3 overs. 

PES on the other side somehow reached the playoffs by finishing fourth in the league stage. They managed to win only half of their 10 league games and failed to defend a total of more than 240 runs twice. They are now one way down from qualifying for the final. 

PES defeated the Shadab Khan-led ISL side by 12 runs in the 1st Eliminator on Thursday, March 16. Aamer picked up two crucial wickets of Alex Hales and Sohaib Maqsoob and well deserved the Player of the Match award.
