The 8th match of the ongoing Pakistan T20 League will be played between KAR and LAH. The National Stadium in Karachi will host the match on Sunday, February 19. 

Karachi has played two matches so far and won none of them. This resulted in them sitting at one place higher than the last position in the points table. They lost their inaugural game against Peshawar by a narrow margin of 2 runs. Their second match was against Islamabad in which they were defeated by 4 wickets. They will face their third opponent, Quetta on Saturday 18 before coming into this i.e. the fourth fixture with Lahore. 

Lahore on the other hand has just played one match and won it sealing a fourth place in the points table. Their first match was against the Multan side which they won by just 1 run in a nail-biting thriller.  In the first match of the league, Lahore while batting first posted 175 runs at a loss of 6 wickets. Opener Fakhar Zaman smashed 66 runs off just 42 deliveries to lead his team from the front. Mirza Baig assisted him by scoring 32 runs off just 26 balls. Their bowlers went expensive in the second half. Skipper Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Zaman Khan, and Hussain Talat took one wicket apiece but baring the skipper the others went expensive in front of the opponent side. Zaman Khan bowled the last over and in spite of hitting a four in the last ball, Lahore managed a narrow win by a margin of just one run.
