Fred’s stunner sealed United’s fate as the Rangnick era began in style!

After Ole was fired from his position as the head coach of the team, Michael Carrick took over and United played some decent football but most importantly, the confidence was instilled, something that was missing. With Ralf, you will see a lot of technical stuff that was not present previously. Ronaldo tracking down and helping the defense, Tellas putting up a good show and the team creating a lot of chances; things are looking good for United at the moment.

Against Crystal Palace, United won 1-0. Even though the red devils didn’t score too many goals, United attempted 16 shots with 3 on target. Ralf has a completely different strategy than what we saw or know United by. He loves to play attacking football and the centre backs are moving up and that’s narrowing down the pitch and it’s putting the opposition under a bit of pressure.

Ralf hardly got any time with the team. He didn’t even get a full training session before the Crystal game and the fans are happy with what they saw. The team is running and putting a lot of pressure on the opposition's half and with time, we will see the beauty of gegenpressing. Fred scored a stunning goal in the 77th minute which sealed United’s fate.

Ralf in the post match conference stated that the team played much better than he expected. He was thrilled with all the three points but was happier for the clean sheet. This was United’s third clean sheet of the season and expects more of that. With 77 passes in the final third, United also showed a lot of intent and the teams will now know that the red devils are coming for the win and nothing else.

In the post match conference, Ralf said, “I am very happy with the game, the performance but also with the result. Clean sheet, that’s the most important part”. He added, “If you play the way we did with regard to intensity, being on the front foot, playing pro actively and having four offensive players, it’s highly important you have players behind who are very disciplined and proactively aggressive against the ball”.

Spurs on the other hand has also won comfortably against Norwich. Lucas Moura scored a stunner of a goal and Sanchez and Son made it 3-0 for the London based club. With this win, Spurs are now 5th in the table with 27 points, 2 points behind the Hammers. Conte has shaped the team well and Spurs are looking like a solid team!
