Robert Lewandowski – On the Move?

The 33-year-old Polish striker is all set to leave Bayern Munich if recent rumours are to be believed. His contract at the Bavarian club will run out in 2023 and currently, Lewandowski has refused to sign one. Barcelona are interested in signing the Polish captain but nothing is certain as the club won’t be able to pay a huge amount of money to Bayern Munich in order to sign him in the summer.

The Daily Sports Bild reported that the “Goal machine Robert Lewandowski will leave the club no later than summer of 2023” and since then the rumours started to float in. Teams like Manchester United, Chelsea can also show their interest in the 2021 FIFA Player of the year. United are looking to sign a top class forward in the summer and thus they can go after him. If Romelu Lukaku leaves Chelsea in the summer, Warner-Havertz and Lewandowski can be a deadly trio.

However, all this can only happen if Bayern decides to earn some profit by selling their best player. Letting him go for free in the next season will be a mistake and thus, the team needs to take a call soon regarding the future of their club.

Barcelona, who are currently the favourites to land him at Catalonia, believes the deal is going to be a complicated one. What lies ahead is still a mystery but one thing is for sure that the upcoming transfer window will be one crazy ride.
