UEL giants Sevilla KO Man Utd from the Quarterfinal of UEL

Europa League kings Sevilla once again proved their worth in the UEL after beating Ten Hag side Man Utd by 3-0(5-2 on agg) on Thursday in the second leg of the Europa League quarterfinals held in a euphoric and full Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, one more step in the legend of the six-time champion of the competition, who will be measured for a place in his seventh final with Juventus.

The 13th-placed in the Spanish league, Red-Whites ate the Red Devils with the atmosphere in Nervión and with the staging of the game, commitment and goal. An error by Maguire led to the 1-0 score for En Nesyri after eight minutes while Badé doubled the lead shortly after the restart, with a shot with his shoulder that touched the crossbar and slipped into David de Gea's net.

The Hosts, spurred on by the atmosphere of the big nights, launched the pressure and reaped their rewards against English defender Maguire. The English international was surrounded and En Nesyri took advantage of the one-on-one with De Gea (1-0). Ten Hag's team took 20 minutes to come to their senses, with good runs from Antony and a few from Sancho to make up for the absence of a brain like Bruno Fernandez, but without a shot.

Despite Marcao's injury, Sevilla knew how to command and defend themselves when they touched, to make it 2-0 before the break. With that goal from Ocampos that was annulled by millimetres, the duel turned into a round trip that turned Pizjuán back on. 'Mendi's team had the upper hand and looked stuck two minutes into the second half with Badé's shot.

In a corner kick from a Rakitic throughout the match, the French defender signed a parabolic shoulder with his shoulder, making Pizjuán go take (2-0). Ten Hag had already put the 'touched' Rashford after passing through the changing rooms, but the Red Devils seemed impossible due to play and sensations.

'Mendi' wanted more control, but the heart was on its own in a Sevilla that did not stop pressing and looking for the third. The Mendilibar effect is seen in domestic competition, finally leaving the lower zone, and in the Europa League, the club recovers its best version, the favourite for a seventh title. Sevilla sets to face off against the Italian giants Juventus in the semifinal of the Europa League. The first leg of the semis will take place on 11th May and the return leg on 18th May.
