Matter of time, they will be at their best: Ganguly on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli

The most dependable duo of the Indian team for the last decade, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma is in terrible form at the moment. King Kohli has lost his flair while Rohit Sharma’s form is in shambles. However, someone rightfully mentioned that the form is temporary and class is permanent. Same can be said for this duo. Many in the media and many haters all across the globe wanted to create a rift between these two but it looks like that they have failed in their job. They will be one of the key players that team India will look forward to delivering and the board president Sourav Ganguly thinks that this is just a phase and it’s just a matter of time before they outclass and awestruck everybody.

“Everybody is human. There will be mistakes but Rohit's record as captain is outstanding. Five Indian T20 League titles, Asian Cup winner, he has won whatever he has captained, so his record as captain is outstanding. Mistakes will happen because they are all human”, said Ganguly before the Indian T20 League playoffs.

The board president also said, “They are very good players. I’m sure they will be back among runs. They play so much of cricket that at times they go out of form. Kohli played very well in the last game, especially when it was required for Bangalore”.

Former Indian captain further said, “That’s why he (Kohli) was so happy that Bangalore qualified. They are all great players; it’s a matter of time they will be at their best”.

The team and the entire nation will look forward to them as India eye their 2nd T20 championship. With the talent they possess, it shouldn’t be difficult if they get back in form.
