After agonisingly losing their first T20 in the super over against Sri Lanka, New Zealand will look to bounce back in the second T20 on Wednesday, April 5. The opening match of the series went right down to the wire. Ish Sodhi smashed a last ball six off Dasun Shanaka to take the match to the super over.  However, Sri Lanka got their noses in front courtesy Charith Asalanka and Maheesh Theekshana. The latter dismissed James Neesham and Mark in the super over, allowing the hosts to register only 8 runs. Charith Asalanka then finished off the game in fine fashion smashing Adam Milne for consecutive boundaries in the second and third ball of the super over.
