On June 12th, the SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore will host the opening match between Lyca Kovai Kings (LKK) and IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans (ITT) of the seventh edition of the Tamil Nadu T20 League. Last year, due to rain, the final was washed out, and Lyca Kovai Kings and Chepauk Super Gillies were declared joint champions. The Kings aim to replicate their success in the upcoming season, with Shahrukh Khan leading the team and Sai Sudharsan contributing his excellent form with the bat, as seen in Ind T20 League 2023, to their critical batting lineup.

The Tamizhans did not have a great run last year, winning only three out of seven league games and failing to qualify for the playoffs. However, they have Vijay Shankar and Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore on their team and hope to secure a spot in the top four this time around.
