The Tamil Nadu T20 League is up and running. Let’s talk about the 6th game which will be played between the Nellai Royal Kings and the Kyca Kovai Kings. Both sides have started their 2023 season campaign on a good note by fetching astounding wins in their inaugural matches. Also, LKK are the defending co-champions and will look forward to defending their title., while the NRK are still attempting to get their hands on the coveted trophy.

Mukilesh boosted the run rate with his 33 runs cameo and Shahrukh Khan played a small but effective knock of 25 runs in just 15 deliveries. 

Bowlers impressed with their clinical performance and ran over the opposition restricting them to just 109 runs. Shahrukh Kham yet again contributed with the ball too picking up 3 wickets, giving away just 20 runs. Furthermore, Mohammad took 2 wickets along with Kiran Akash, Mukilesh, Gowtham Kannan, and Subramanyen who also got a wicket in the process.

NRK on the other hand chased a small score of 127 runs in less than 14 overs to prove their fire power, hence winning the match by 6 wickets. Nidhisj Rajagopal scored 42, the most runs from the side while KB Arun Karthik's stupendous knock of 32 runs off just 12 deliveries tore the strings of opposition bowlers. The rest of the batting lineup was quite unrevealed, hence providing us a good chance to watch some kind of a firecracker show in this match.

Their bowling side restricted the opponents to just 126 runs at a loss of 8 wickets. The trio of Sonu Yadav (2 W), M Poiyamozhi (2 W) and Mohan Prasath (3 W) took away the vital wickets hence weakening the opponents’ batting unit.

The surface here at this stadium is flat and favourable for the batters as there is almost no pace or bounce. The pitch also provides a lot of help for the spinners but almost all teams in this league have a powerful batting lineup so in this case it does not matter at all.
