The Southern Brave (SB) have had a start-stop season so far. They have won two games, lost two games and one tie was washed out due to persistent rain. They returned to winning ways in their most recent fixture against Welsh Fire where they secured a comprehensive victory. 

Tymal Mills and George Garton took four and three wickets respectively as they did a commendable job of bundling out Welsh Fire for a partly score of 87. The top order then made the run chase look easy as they chased down the target inside ten overs. They will be looking to replicate the same performance on Wednesday. 

Birmingham Phoenix(BP), on the other hand secured their maiden win of the season in their last fixture against  Oval Invincibles. After losing two games on the trott, Moeen Ali and co finally managed to open their account, and will be hoping to continue the winning momentum and move forward. 

Jamie Smith played a blistering knock of 60 off just 33 balls to help Phoenix post a formidable total of 160 on the scoreboard. The bowlers then backed up and wrapped up Invincibles innings for 119 to register a 41 run win. Kane Richardson was the star performer with ball in hand as he finished the game with impressive match figures of 4/32.
