Man Utd Players players wanting Sir Jim Ratcliffe to sack Erik Ten Hag in the the summer after disappointing season

According to Daily Mail, a number of Man United players believe that the INEOS group chaired by Sir Jim Ratcliffe will not continue with Ten Hag beyond the 2023/24 season. While the Dutchman still enjoys the backing of the majority of the dressing room, few players have expressed their issue with the former Ajax boss’s training intensity amidst a disastrous season that has seen them fall to sixth in the Premier League table. 

Ten Hag has insisted that he and the INEOS group are on the same page, but the latter could elect to part ways with the manager ahead of the new season (2024/25) unless he guides United to FA Cup glory and seals Champions League spot. 

United were on a five game winning streak across all competitions but their form suddenly plunged as they suffered back to back Premier League losses against Fulham and city rivals Manchester City. 

The Red Devils, who are 11 points shy of fourth placed Aston Villa, will look to return to winning ways on Saturday as they host Everton in a crucial league clash.
