Jude Bellingham propped another record in UCL

The 20-year-old star forward Jude Bellingham has played six matches in the 2023/2024 Champions League for Real Madrid. So, in those six matches, the flamboyant striker never failed to score a goal or assist for Real. The 14-time UCL winner Madrid has sealed the quarterfinal spot of the 2023/2024 Champions League. Los Blancos advanced after winning 2-1 on aggregate over German side, RB Leipzig on Wednesday(06th March 2024).

The Spanish giants’ Real Madrid qualification was determined by the results of the first leg, at the Red Bull Arena where they won with a score of 1-0 through a goal from Brahim Diaz. Meanwhile, while playing at the Bernabeu in the second leg, Madrid drew 1-1, Bellingham missed the first leg against RB Leipzig due to injury in the second leg, the 20-year-old sublime striker played for 85 minutes.

The Stourbridge-born star forward just experienced a complicated situation last weekend. His goal against Valencia was ruled out after the referee blew the whistle right before he headed the ball. Bellingham swore and was banned for two matches, however, the situation didn't seem to have an impact on Bellingham's mentality. The 20-year-old player performed optimally against RB Leipzig which was only two days after that unrealistic moment.

Bellingham made an assist for the goal scored by Vinicius Junior and he dribbled and led the counter-attack, then made a pass to the Brazilian striker. Bellingham, according to the Opta records, is even on the list of the youngest players to have scored or assisted in six consecutive Champions League matches. Bellingham set the record at the age of 20 years and 251 days and there are only two players younger than him, Mbappe (18 years and 337 days) and Haaland (20 years and 231 days). Bellingham has scored four goals and four assists in six Champions League matches in the 2023/3034 season.
