Too many contenders lined up to coach the Lucknow franchise as Sanjeev Goenka is already playing mind games with other franchises. According to several reports, Lucknow has already roped in the likes of KL Rahul and Rashid Khan for the next season with Rahul set to captain the new franchise.

Well, not just players, looks like the new franchise is also trying multiple top notch coaches for the next season. Gary Kirsten and Trvor Bayliss were already on their list and according to the recent reports, former Punjab coach Flower and former Kiwi captain Daniel Vettori is also one of the contenders to coach the team next season. Flower was with KL in the 2021 season and thus the Zimbabwean legend might be one step ahead of the other coaches available right now.

The franchise can’t make anything official after the CVC group is under a bit of trouble following their association with a betting group. Thus, the cricketing board of India has asked the Lucknow franchise not to make anything official unless the problem with CVC gets solved.
