Tottenham keen to resign Gareth Bale

It’s been a couple of weeks since Tottenham appointed Antonio Conte as the manager of the club and the Italian maestro has already created a massive buzz with his policies. The 52 year old professional manager and his team are paying special attention to the fitness of the players and as a result are altering their diets in the process. Conte, who won Scudetto with Inter Milan last season, has gone about making changes at the training ground straightaway by banning Mayonnaise and Ketchup. The new boss believes that few of his current squad members are overweight and so he has cut out heavy food and sandwiches after training. It would be interesting to see whether the slight change in diet will make a difference on the pitch or not.

Conte has also turned a lot of heads by hinting the signing of Gareth Bale. Earlier there were rumours of Eden Hazard linking with Spurs but it was eventually turned down by the manager. Both Hazard and Bale have no future in Bernabeu and are most likely to part ways with the spanish giants next year. The resigning of Bale can prove critical for Spurs. The Welsh international has a knack of finding pockets of space and keeping possession in tight areas which makes him an invaluable asset. Spurs this season have lacked pace up front and Bale could just be the right man to provide the swift movement. The 32 year old right winger spent a successful six year spell with the Lillywhites before moving to Madrid for a then record fee of €100m. With little to no play in 2020 with Los Blancos, the star winger is expected to leave and so could be approached in January.
