By the end of the fourth day's play in the first test between Pakistan and New Zealand, The Hosts managed to score 77 runs for 2 wickets in the second innings. He scored 113 off 191 balls by hitting 10 fours in his innings.

Conway and Ish Sodhi also played excellent innings as well for the Visitors. Conway returned to the pavilion after scoring 92 runs off 176 balls and missed his century by 8 runs. Ish Sodhi played well with Williamson by scoring 65 runs in 180 balls. At the same time, Tom Blundell and Mitchell scored 47 runs and 42 runs respectively.
