Preview 

Last week, Bangalore was at the bottom of the table with no wins, while Mumbai was at the top with a perfect five wins. Mumbai had secured a place in the top three, while Bangalore’s chances of advancing were slim. 

However, the Challengers have made a remarkable comeback. They defeated UP and thrashed Gujarat  by eight wickets in a high-scoring clash. Mumbai suffered their first defeat of the tournament to UP.

Despite their recent success, they have been eliminated from the competition following UP's victory over Giants on Monday. With Mumbai playing in less than 24 hours, Mandhana and co will look to end the tournament on a high note.

Mumbai, on the other hand, will aim to maintain their top spot, which will secure a direct entry into the final. If Delhi beat Mumbai and then win their final league game against UP, Mumbai might not finish in first place.

The captains of the respective teams, two Indian cricket legends, have had different fortunes. Harmanpreet Kaur has scored 205 runs with three half-centuries, while Smriti Mandhana has only crossed 30 runs twice. It remains to be seen if Mandhana can outperform her counterpart in the upcoming match.
