The fourth match of the Women's T20 League 2023 will feature a face-off between Mumbai (MUM-W) and Bangalore (BLR-W) at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Mumbai, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, started their campaign with a huge win over Gujarat, while Smriti Mandhana's Bangalore suffered a loss in their first match against Delhi, which was played on March 5 at the same venue.

In the opening match of the league, MUM-W thrashed GUJ-W by batting first and posted a score of over 200+ while defending MUM-W won a record 143-run win with the powerful knock of skipper Harmanpreet who scored the first fifty in the Women's IND T20 League by smashing 65 off 30 balls. Kaur is also fully prepared to attack Mandhana's BLR-W. Bangalore is still not come out from the last match defeat against Delhi. On the other hand, enthusiasm of Mumbai has increased a lot from the previous match's victory. They are ready to strike again, but a defeat has made BLR-W more dangerous.

Talking about Bangalore bowlers they remained completely flopped against Meg-Lanning's Delhi, With the destructive opening partner Shahfli Verma's 84 off 45 balls that included 10 fours and 4 sixes in her astonishing innings. Renuka Singh, Megan Schutt, Preeti Bose, Ellyse Perry, Sophie Devine, and Asha Shobana all six bowlers remained wicketless for BLR in the last match and BLR-W conceded 223 runs against DEL. Only English bowler Heather Knight took 2 wickets by leaking 40 runs in her 3 overs and she scored 34 runs while batting.

BLR-W's bowling was beaten all across the ground by Lanning(72), Verma(84), Kapp(39) & Rodrigues(22). Even in batting, only 4 batters were able to rise above 30 runs. Despite a good start from skipper Mandhana, the middle order failed to handle the innings. The skipper of the side scored 35, Perry scored 31, Knight scored 34 and Schutt scored 30 not out which is not enough for the side to chase down the mammoth target of 224.

BLR-W will be eager to secure their first win of the tournament, while MUM-W will be looking to continue their winning streak and maintain their momentum. While Mumbai is unlikely to make any changes to their playing XI, Bangalore may consider making some adjustments to their team.
