England ripped apart Hungary in World Cup Qualifiers with a 4 -0 win

England lost the Euro 2020 final to Italy in the harshest ways possible but came back really strong against Hungary in the World Cup Qualifiers. Hungary played a 3-4-1-2 formation with Szalai as their lone striker. England played a 4-2-3-1 with Harry Kane up top and Grealish and Sterling on the left and right wings respectively.

The first half of the game was rather dull with no pressing from both sides. 2nd Half on the other hand was a half to remember. England as a whole started moving up the field and started creating chances. England made a beautiful build-up play on the left flank in the 54th minute. Grealish kept running to the opposition penalty box and then made a short pass to Mount in the box who further made a simple pass to Sterling. Sterling in a great position in the box tapped the ball back into the net. England 1-0 Hungary.

Not long after, in the 61st minute, Hungarian defender tried clearing the ball but unfortunately was intercepted by Declan Rice. Rice made a beautiful long pass to Mount. Mount spotted Sterling on the right. Sterling crossed the ball in the box and Kane headed the ball into the goal. Easy 2nd goal for The Englishmen.

Hungarian players were all over the place, but there was more to come. England won a corner in the 68th minute. Luke Shaw took the corner kick and Maguire in the penalty box headed the ball back into the net. England 3-0 Hungary.  England created many more chances one of them was a clear chance for Sterling to shoot but the winger lost his composure and shot directly at the goalkeeper.

In the 86th minute, Declan Rice shot the ball from outside the box and got England their 4th goal. The 4th English goal was like the final nail in the Hungarian coffin. The game was done and dusted. England won the game with ease. Gareth Southgate's team seems like a mature team who is hungry for trophies. Raheem Sterling was named man of the match for his goal and assist. He completed more dribbles in the first half than every other player on the pitch combined.

The game of football was beautiful but the atmosphere was sadly not. England players were racially abused when they took a knee before the World Cup Qualifier. Reporting from inside the stadium in Budapest, Sky Sports News' Rob Dorsett confirmed he had heard "sporadic monkey chants from various areas of the crowd, directed primarily towards Raheem Sterling when he has touched the ball - and including when he set up Harry Kane for the second goal.

FIFA has said in a statement: "First and foremost, FIFA strongly rejects any form of racism and violence and has a very clear zero-tolerance stance for such behavior in football.

"FIFA will take adequate actions as soon as it receives match reports concerning yesterday's Hungary-England game.

It is so sad to see that, even in a sport that unites people from so many different realms, some people let their hate win.
